A beautiful piece of carnelian hand set in a sterling silver bezel in Nepal, hangs from a substantial rolo chain.  This necklace has a slightly more industrial look that balances well with the softness of the hand carved stone.. 

Carnelian ranges from a more transparent light orange to rich dark opaque rust color.  Mirroring the colors of the rising and setting sun, carnelian is believed to symbolize warmth, joy and bold energy.

Pendant is 1 ½”  long and hangs from sturdy chain measuring 18” and is finished with a 9mm lobster claw clasp.  All metal is oxidized sterling silver.
