These short but substantial earrings feature rare antique coral beads inside rustic sterling silver rings.

Coral, though often categorized as a gemstone, is more closely related to shells, being comprised mostly of calcium carbonate.  Coral is believed to be a symbol of protection and thought to soothe emotions, especially for those experiencing significant changes in life.  I use antique coral beads from Morocco and Nigeria, these beads are often around 100-200 years old.

Earrings measure 1” from top of earwire.  All metal used is oxidized sterling silver.
