A series of hand carved stones, shells and antique African trade beads are wire wrapped together in this colorful necklace.  This necklace features turquoise, lapis, conch shell and glass African trade beads.

Many glass African trade beads originated in Europe during the 1800s and were traded throughout the world - throughout the continent of Africa, Western Asia and the Americas.  These special beads became influential in the beadwork created by many cultures across the world.

Necklace measures 18” long and is finished with a 12mm lobster claw clasp.  All findings used are oxidized sterling silver.
