This necklace features a smooth ruby gemstone suspended inside a textured sterling silver ring.

Ruby is believed to be a stone of passion and protection.  It has strong associations with the heart and love, especially with encouraging healing from loss and rebuilding trust in loving relationship.  Ruby gets its name from the Latin word ruber, meaning “red” a nod to it’s deep red color.  Ruby is the birthstone of July.
